Debbie Engebretsen, the current VP of Finance, will be moving into the President-Elect position, Mandy Aguirre will be moving into the President position upon the completion of Amber Dixon’s, current President, term. Changes will take place in April.
The chapter is seeking committee members to assist its Vice Presidents in specific areas. As we continue into our 4th year as a chapter, we are looking to expand our board, and utilize the many talents of other women in our industry.
We are currently looking for women who want to take an active interest in our chapter to help it grow, and to present our attendees with the most powerful and worthwhile luncheons and events possible. We love to hear new ideas and work as a team. The purpose of the board is to set a budget, discuss programming, calendar, grow attendance, and enjoy the relationship building along the way.
We would love to have an eclectic group of women on the board from a variety of areas within our industry. Financial representatives, support staff, bankers, CPA, mortgage, title, real estate, P & C, law, and more.
We meet once a month, keep track of information on online spreadsheets, and talk with one another along the way. We host 9 meetings a year, and collaborate on each event. We are a nonprofit and you can learn more by going to http://www.wifsnational.org.
Benefits of being on a board? Being a part of a working board helps you build relationships, build your business, possibility of effecting change in an organization, enjoy collaborating with interesting people who have similar interests, build alliances, be recognized for efforts, make an impact, and have fun.
Contact any of our board members for more information.
